New Outdoor Merit Skills & Badges!
I am happy to announce that today is the launch of the first of the new outdoors merit series badges: Skill Badge Collection from E-Patches & Crests!
These new leveled merit badges will hopefully be the start of a larger series of fun outdoor skills. We currently have a new Knot Skills series and an Orienteering Skills series.
Since the new Girls First program has arrived many of us have been very concerned about the lack of outdoor skills.
This concern led me to contact E-Patches & Crests about a new series with three different levels that have specific skills and challenges to earn. I have created the requirements, activities and challenges for each level, and E-Patches & Crests has created stunning new embroidered badges to go along with each new skill! We have more in the works!
The great thing about these badges is that they can be done by all levels of Guiding and Scouting, but are also great activities for teachers and classrooms, child care providers, camps or for anyone wanting to learn new skills.
The new patches are 2 " x 2", and represent each level of the skill. Each level builds on the previous levels skills.
They are only $1.50 (CAN) which is a great price point in comparison to other challenge crests and have an iron-on backing. These skills can easily work into your existing programming!
