Trefoil Cross-Stitch
This Trefoil cross-stitch pattern was created by Guider Rachel Collins. She has graciously shared her pattern, and allowed it to be shared here for free printing and downloading (see below)! Thank you Rachel!

For my project I used some remnant blue tie-dyed embroidery floss from an old project. I used two strands of floss, but could have easily used three for more coverage.

Rachel has provided the count, size and embroidery floss colour ideas for different branches:

-
Approximately 4.5" x 4.5" on 11 count fabric. (Design approximates 50 stitches by 50 stitches.)

DMC colour codes:

-
Sparks = 3608
-
Brownies = 801 (brown, not orange)
-
Guides = 995 or 3842
-
Pathfinders = 905
-
Rangers = 3777

This was a quick and easy project, and would be suitable for Guides ages and up! It would be the perfect gift for any Guider, or as in my case; a gift for yourself!

The frame and round fabric-covered mat was purchased at a thrift shop. I sewed the inner fabric around the aida cloth as my project was to small to fit in the mat.

I love how it turned out. Thank you for sharing Guider Rachel!
